David is an experienced advisor in strategy and decision-making and the founder of 42 Projects. He works with senior leaders and executive teams to improve the quality of their decisions, sharpen their strategic thinking, and navigate complexity with clarity and confidence.
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience across Financial Services, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Energy & Infrastructure, and Private Equity, David has advised executives from organisations including Standard Bank, Nedbank, BDO, ENS, Investec, SA Mint, SA Bank Note Company, King Price, MIC, and many others.
As a qualified Time to Think facilitator, David creates the conditions leaders need to think independently and deeply, enabling stronger insight, better decisions, and sustained leadership impact.

Background & Qualifications
David holds a BA in Psychology & Philosophy, a PDBA (GIBS), and an MBA (GIBS). He has completed advanced programmes in Decision Quality, Leading Strategic Decision Making, Strategic Investment Analysis, Executive Coaching, Critical Thinking, and The Thinking Environemnt.
Beyond Work
David is the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Yeshiva College, the largest Torah-based school in South Africa. He is a father of three, an enthusiastic road and trail runner, and a lifelong learner with a deep interest in science, history, biography, fantasy, and Jewish studies.
